Who are you and what business did you start?
I am a writer, playwright, producer, Sony orchard distributor, CEO of a magazine, talk show host, and media specialist. I started a company called TB Productions which was created for the 21 century level of entertainment.
What’s your backstory and how did you come up with the idea?
I started writing books due to a tragedy and then my career started to move from 10k sales in less than a year all the way to turning my books into award winning plays. I thought to myself….I can make a difference in the entertainment world by creating a company that will help people in the industry to achieve.
Describe the process of launching the business.
I did everything solo. I talked to individuals in the industry on how to maintain customers and create a platform. I jumped on it and studied the craft on how to be successful on all 9 platforms that I now possess.
Since launch, what has worked to attract and retain customers?
Word of mouth…it had been the most powerful tool for me on all levels.
How are you doing today and what does the future look like?
My company has soared even in the middle of a pandemic. 2022 is looking very bright for the music and theater side of my brand
Through starting the business, have you learned anything particularly helpful or advantageous?
Yes I’ve learned to put everything in writing and to always challenge myself to do better then the last round of success
What platform/tools do you use for your business?
All social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
What have been the most influential books, podcasts, or other resources?
I try not to view to much of my competitions work. But I like to use resources from YouTube university that allows me to visually see how everything works
Advice for other entrepreneurs who want to get started or are just starting out?
Yes! Research everything you do. No matter what
